  • Although we primary serve as a Preschool, our program begins at just 6 weeks old and goes up to age 5. As a way to meet the needs of every family.

  • Our hours will run from 6:30am to 5:30pm as a way to support parents.

  • Yes! We accept Y-CARE / YWCA of Northwestern Illinois Childcare Assistance Program. This program can help eligible families cover the cost of care. To learn more and how to apply, visit ywcanwil.org

  • Absolutely! All Meals are cooked in-house; we take pride in ensuring that all of our meals are never pre-packaged and always made fresh for your little one.

  • We not only care for your little one but provide the best quality education, by ensuring that our director is not only compassionate but qualified.

    Our Academy Director spent years teaching in the Winnebago area and has earned her Doctorate in Special Education with the focus on Early Childhood Education. She has spent a majority of her career teaching High-scope which is one of the only two (2) data proven curriculums in the nation. By placing quality leadership and building a dedicated team, rest assured that your little one will be prepared for wherever their journey leads them, whether it be Public, Private or Independent education.

    We know that choosing the right Preschool can be a challenge, this is why we’d love to see you schedule a time to take a tour with us and invite you to bring your little one along for the tour!

  • At Rivers Christian Academy, weekly tuition is $385/week for Infants (6 weeks—14 months), $320/week for Toddlers (15 m/o to age 2), and $275/week for Preschool & Pre-K (ages 3–5). We accept YWCA childcare assistance for eligible families. Pricing is full-time; contact us to discuss your family's specific situation as we would love to support in any way that we can.

  • We serve families throughout Rockford, IL (61107 and surrounding zip codes) including Boone County, Loves Park, Cherry Valley, and Machesney Park. Located in the heart of Rockford at 323 N Second St, Rockford, IL 61107 — This allows us to be accessible to the communities we serve.

  • We have a newly installed and updated video and audio system which includes sight on the playground and throughout the building to keep your little one safe. Our main entrance is always locked and never accessible for anyone to roam without an escort, as a way to ensure that your child remains safe during their time at RCA. We have also installed a brand-new fire alarm system to ensure your child’s safety is kept as a priority.

  • Once enrolled, parents receive secure login credentials for the Brightwheel app. You'll have access to real-time updates, photos, messaging with teachers, billing information, and digital check-in/checkout capabilities.

    Brightwheel is one of the friendliest and most widely used applications to date. We’ve chosen brightwheel for parents as a convenient way to ensure your child’s safety.
